We are Tim and Jennifer Kay and we started Access Garage Door in 1998 to fill a real need for homeowners. We saw that the garage door businesses at that time focused attention on new construction and commercial work and showed little concern for the unique needs of the residential homeowner. We personally experienced the challenges of being at the end of the line and the feeling that we were at the mercy of the supplier’s schedule and pricing structure. We decided to do something to improve that situation.
